Large sandy beaches are plentiful for camping. The maximum party size is 30, including guides. All trash, including human waste, must be packed out. We pack our own drinking water. No bathing or soap is allowed in the river. We ask you to bring pop and beer in cans. Glass has no place in the river or on the beach.We love to cook and love to see our guests eat their fill. We cook a full breakfast and dinner. Lunch is a spread of build-your-own deli sandwhiches. We serve gourmet snacks before dinner. No one will go away from a Barker River Trip hungry.
We are able to tailor your trip to what you need. We have usually space to fit one or two people on trips and with folks you will like. We can put together a charter trip just for you (minimum of 10). We are limited to a total of 24 guests on any trip.
We are proud that our guides all exceed the minimum requirements for the State of Idaho. Many of our guides are fully trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). Some of our guides have made more trips down the Salmon River than the entire staff of other river companies combined.
